Dolly Parton shocked the world during the 2023 Cowboys game that took place on Thanksgiving day. She showed her support for the Cowboys by wearing the iconic Dallas Cowboys cheerleader costume. The star is now 77 years old and is still living her life to the fullest. The Cowboys won the game against the Commanders with a score of 45-10. Parton sang several iconic songs that are fan favorites, including Jolene, 9 to 5, and a mashup of We Will Rock You and We are the Champions. People from around the world were shocked to see how in shape Parton is at her old age, and it sparked controversy in many households on Thanksgiving day. Many applauded her for looking as good as she does, while others criticized her for the amount of work she had done. Regardless, she has done an amazing job providing the world with wonderful music.

Parton recently released an album that ventured into a new genre, rock. The album, Rockstar, is a compilation of rock songs from throughout the years. She sings several songs together with the original writers.

More recently, Parton also made an appearance at the University of Tennessee’s football game against the University of Georgia. Parton sang “Rocky Top” during half time. The game took place at Neyland Stadium. Parton walked on with Peyton Manning, who is a football superstar. He is a retired quarterback from the Colts team and the Broncos team. Parton delivered an amazing performance despite the fact that there were several technological issues with the performance. The earpiece that typically gives singers a background track, was not functioning during the performance. Dolly sang her heart out without knowing how she sounded, throwing caution to the wind. Dolly also mentioned that the crowd was extremely loud and she couldn’t hear herself think. However, even with Parton on their side, the University of Tennessee lost the football game 38-10. Parton is taking hold of the world yet again, proving that you're never too old to fulfill your dreams.
