Netflix Adds New Seasons to Beloved Shows
In the last few years, Netflix has made shows that many teenagers watch and dig. Well, after a couple of years without fresh, new seasons of these shows, Netflix’s 2025 year is making it worth the wait. Some shows with new seasons coming out this year are, “Stranger Things,” “XO Kitty,” “Ginny & Georgia,” “My Life With the Walter Boys,” and “Squid Games.”
Some seasons’ release dates have already been set , while other release dates are still being determined. The new season of “Ginny & Georgia” is set to be released on June 5, 2025. Freshman Ayla Hirt-Jarret said, “I’m so excited for the new season to come out, I’ve been waiting forever.” In the last season of “Ginny & Georgia,” Georgia gets arrested at her wedding and that’s the final cliffhanger, so this season will be full of the unexpected. “Stranger Things” hasn’t set an official release date for the new season yet, however, the producers have stated that it will be coming out in 2025 sometime. Like “Stranger Things,” “My Life With The Walter Boys” new season does not have a date set but will also be coming to Netflix this year. “XO Kitty” producers already released the new season last month on Jan. 16, 2025. There’s also a new season of one of Netflix’s most streamed shows, “Squid Games” which is coming out sometime in June 2025. Netflix has made it clear that these seasons are going to be amazing and entertaining.
These shows are full of all sorts of emotional scenes, some more than others. The release dates are scattered around spring and summertime. All of these shows’ producers have been hard at work for the last few years, trying to give everyone what they’ve been waiting for and, finally, it’s coming.
Netflix is the most streamed platform to watch movies and shows, with 282.7 million streams and this years’ new seasons will allow Netflix to gain even more.
